3 AM Thoughts

4.9.19 2 AM
I haven't slept yet.  This seems to be the new pattern.  When I think about everything I am doing, I can't help but weigh the pros and cons.  I'm following my passion for writing and that's all I have ever wanted to do.  Is that a bug in my room? Holy crap, its gigantic! EW! ... Anyways, I know I'm on the right path and I know the universe is testing me.  Good thing I'm stubborn, because I'm not giving up on my dream anytime soon.  Is it normal that I speak to myself through writing? In writer's eyes, yes...it is.  Perfect.  Now if only I could figure out how to work my blogger.

    Such a pity you cannot make Leamington Spa for StoryTelling Corner...it's only a few thousand miles for 20 minutes reading from your novel or voicing your poetry.

I Am A Writer. And I Chose This Struggle.

Struggles come in many different forms and guide us in many different directions. For those of you reading along with my thoughts, you can see I have many internal and external struggles.  Yet, they have all pushed me closer to one realization, that I am a writer... a person who speaks their mind through the written word rather than a spoken word... and a person who is never afraid to take the unconventional route.  It does not matter to me that many won't understand why.  All they need to know is that it's my choice.  Struggles and the creative process are close friends.  Why you ask? How Do You Determine Your Self-Worth?

Our daily lives are set in motion by how we see ourselves.   This is usually inclusive of both conscious and unconscious thoughts.   How we perceive ourselves can determine whether or not we feel we are deserving to take certain risks and can influence our reaction to choices that we make.   If we have strong positive self-worth, we are more likely to be satisfied with our decisions. In contrast, if we see ourselves in a negative light, we are less likely to find satisfaction in our choices and often find and define our lives as unstable.   Thinking about this topic, I proposed some questions to myself.
